FAQs
What is your Qualification?
I am a degree-qualified Naturopath and a member of NHAA. My association member number is #157359. I studied a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Naturopathy.
I’m experiencing digestive problems, do you do food intolerance testing?
Absolutely! There are so many tests available that a qualified practitioner like myself can refer you for. As there isn’t a-one-size-fits-all approach to my practice it will entirely depend on your consultation/symptoms/health concerns as to the appropriate testing that I would recommend for you. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have within the consultation.

What happens during my first consultation with you?
The first consultation is about understanding and exploring you. Initial appointments go for 90 minutes and include:
A comprehensive analysis of your past and present health concerns.
Discussion of your health goals and strategies to achieve them.
Dietary and lifestyle advice.
An individualised treatment plan.
The option of a Herbal and/or Nutritional Prescription.
What other pathology tests do you offer?
The options are endless! As a qualified practitioner, I have an account with QML & Integrated Labs in which I will use to provide you with a pathology request form. There are also further external labs that offer a wide range of tests for many health concerns.
How often do I need to make an appointment?
This is entirely dependant on your initial consultation. In acute conditions, it’s ideal to aim for weekly or fortnightly appointments. This is to ensure you’re feeling supported through treatment and advice. When you reach a maintenance phase, it’s likely you will only need an appointment every 4-6 weeks.
Is naturopathy expensive?
It absolutely doesn’t have to be! A common misconception is that naturopathy is unaffordable due to sheer amount of product that is absolutely necessary. My goal is always to work with you, never against you, so if you have any budgetary concerns, or simply want to start with advice first, lets do that! There is no judgement and I’m here to support you.
Do you charge for pathology tests?
All tests that are referred by a Naturopath will come with an out-of-pocket cost, however, we will always discuss this first before proceeding.
Are you covered by Private Health Insurance?
Unfortunately not. As of April 2019 naturopathy will no longer be covered by your extras policy due to government changes to private health insurance.
